Between 1949 and 1955, Irene married Edwin Husher (1896-1955). Irene worked for the Firestone Rubber Co in Akron for many years then moved to Laurel Montana where she passed away. She was buried in Akron, Ohio (Fairview) at Rose Hill Burial Park on July 17, 1978 Section 1, Lot 361, Space 2.Citation: 1
